1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using DataWeaver ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

2. Description of Service

DataWeaver is a cloud-based statistical analysis platform that provides:

• Statistical analysis tools (Factor Analysis, ANOVA, Regression, IRT, etc.)
• AI-powered interpretation of statistical results
• Publication-ready APA-formatted output
• Data visualization and reporting

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account using Google OAuth. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information
• Maintaining the security of your account
• All activities that occur under your account

3.2 Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse the Service or other users

4. Subscription & Billing

4.1 Pricing Tiers

• Free: Demo datasets only, all analysis methods, no AI features
• Student: $29/month (requires .edu email verification)
• Pro: $99/month or $990/year
• Business: $149/month or $1,490/year
• Team: $449/month or $4,490/year (up to 5 users)

4.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance

4.3 Refund Policy

• Monthly subscriptions: No refunds for partial months
• Annual subscriptions: Pro-rated refund within first 30 days

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Upload malicious files or code
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service
• Share account credentials with others (except Team plans)
• Use AI features to generate harmful or misleading content
• Upload data containing personally identifiable information of others without consent

6. Your Data

6.1 Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to data you upload. We do not claim ownership of your data.

6.2 License to Us

By uploading data, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for providing the Service (running analyses, generating reports).

6.3 Data Handling

• Uploaded data is processed in memory during your session
• We do not store your uploaded data beyond your session unless you explicitly save it
• AI-generated interpretations may be logged for quality improvement

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by DataWeaver and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. AI-Generated Content

• AI interpretations are provided for informational purposes only
• AI output should be reviewed by qualified professionals before publication
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated interpretations
• You are responsible for verifying AI suggestions before use

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• ACCURACY OF STATISTICAL CALCULATIONS

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DATAWEAVER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from errors in statistical analyses
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DataWeaver from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through:

• First, good faith negotiation
• If unresolved within 30 days, binding arbitration
• Arbitration shall be conducted in English

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on this page
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending an email notification for significant changes

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
